Frequently Asked Questions

What are the Hospital hours?

Our hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Do I need to have an appointment?

Yes, patients are seen by appointment. Walk-ins are accommodated as quickly as possible, but wait times will vary. Dropping-off your pet may also be an option.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, check, Care Credit, MasterCard, Discover and Visa.

Can I make payments?

Payment is required at time of service. Care Credit is an option to spread payments over time. One of our receptionists would be happy to help you with the Care Credit application if you would like to apply for eligibility.

At what age can I have my pet spayed or neutered?

Spaying and neutering recommendations depend on the individual pet and circumstances. Together, you and the doctor will determine what is right for your pet.

What is pre-anesthetic blood screening?

This is a blood test that is run in-clinic prior to surgery. It tests major organ functions and blood cell counts to assure safety during surgery, as well as the ability to heal following the procedure.

How long do the sutures stay in after my pet's surgery?

Procedures that involve non-dissolving sutures may require a complimentary suture removal ten to 14 days following surgery. Many procedures involve sutures under the skin that will dissolve on their own over the same period of time.

Do you board pets?

Yes, we offer dog and cat boarding for our clients. Please call in advance to ensure we have space for your furry friend(s) to stay with us.
